Join Fight Director Tim Klotz for an introductory stage combat class at Nashville Ballet. While the London-based industry expert is in Music City to set the action-packed fight scenes the Company will perform in Romeo and Juliet, you can work with him, too.
Internationally known for his work with Shakespeare’s Globe, Lyric Hammersmith, Royal Festival Hall, Haymarket Theatre Basingstoke, Comedy Theatre London, and BBC, among others, Klotz brings a cutting-edge approach to acting and fight scenes. He is a British Academy of Dramatic Combat (BADC) Certified Instructor and creates fights for theatre, ballet, opera, film, video games and television.
Tim collaborated with Nashville Ballet's Artistic Director Paul Vasterling to choreograph fight scenes for Romeo and Juliet. During the month of August, Tim will be back to help set the fight scenes with the Company Dancers for September's performances of Romeo and Juliet.
