BIO:
Joshua grew up in Orange County, CA, training under his mother for more than 10 years. In 2015 and 2016, Joshua was given the opportunity to perform as The Nutcracker Boy and Fritz in Alexei Ratmansky’s The Nutcracker with American Ballet Theatre. After attending San Francisco Ballet School’s summer intensive in 2017, Joshua was selected to train year-round under Patrick Armand on a full scholarship. During his 3 years in the school, he performed alongside the main company under the direction of Helgi Tommasson in The Nutcracker, Cinderella, and as Young Victor in Frankenstein. Joshua also studied on exchange in Toronto, Ontario in 2019 as part of the National Ballet School of Canada’s world exchange program.
In 2021, Joshua joined Tulsa Ballet ll, where he collaborated with and performed works by choreographers such as Ma Cong, Val Caniparoli, Stephanie Martinez, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, and Andrew McNicol. After two seasons dancing with Tulsa Ballet, Joshua joined Nashville Ballet in 2023 as a Company Artist. While in Nashville, Joshua has performed principal and soloist roles such as 1st duet in Jiří Kylián’s Un Ballo as well as Nutcracker Prince in Paul Vasterling’s Nashville’s Nutcracker. Other works include Year of the Rabbit choreographed by Justin Peck, Romeo & Juliet, and Firebird by Paul Vasterling, and works by Nick Mulikin and Travis Bradley.
Joshua also holds an FAA Private Pilot Certificate with an Instrument Rating as well as a commercial drone license and enjoys flying in his free time to see the world from a different perspective.
