BIO
Helen Yeoman-Shaw grew up in Bowling Green, KY, where she started dancing at the age of three.  She earned her BFA in the Performing Arts from Western Kentucky University where she also performed as a four-year member of their Dance Company.  During her twenty plus years in Los Angeles, Helen worked primarily in film/television and media/publishing.  She created original choreography for local theatre companies and was entrusted to create a new dance class curriculum for children at the YMCA.  Since moving to Nashville, Helen was hired as the Franchise Administrator for Tippi Toes and Dance Instructor for the Children's Division of Rejoice School of Ballet and has taught classes for dancers of all ages at multiple studios around the city.  Her educational background includes ballet, tap, jazz, modern, musical theatre, lyrical/contemporary, hip hop, belly dance and most recently Irish Step in which she currently trains and competes.
