BIO
Anneliese Guerin started dancing in her hometown of Spokane, Washington, but her professional training began in 2014 at Pacific Northwest Ballet (PNBS). After training for two years at PNBS, she was accepted to San Francisco Ballet School, where she was a student for an additional two years before being promoted into their trainee program. During this time, she not only performed in classical favorites such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella, but she also developed an interest in choreography and created her first original work on her fellow trainees.
After a year as a trainee, Guerin returned to Pacific Northwest Ballet School to join their Professional Division Program. Shortly after, she auditioned and was accepted into NB2, Nashville Ballet’s official second company. During this time, she continued to grow and excel as a dancer and choreographer and created several original works on her fellow NB2 artists. In 2021, she was named a DM.Connect Fellow and was selected to create a brand-new work as an emerging and promising choreographer.
After two years in NB2, Anneliese was promoted into Nashville Ballet’s main company as a company apprentice and looks forward to continuing to grow as an artist.
