At Nashville Ballet since 2006
Mark Allyn Nimmo came to Nashville Ballet as a member of NB2 in 2006, and moved to the position of apprentice in 2007, then company member in 2009.
His talent has provided him with the opportunity to perform in such varied repertoire as Paul Vasterling’s Romeo and Juliet, Carmina Burana and Nashville’s Nutcracker, as well as Swan Lake and Sarah Slipper’s Postcards from the Boys.
He developed his talents while training at Governor’s School for the Arts in Norfolk, Va., under the instruction of Kathy Brenner and Todd Rosenlieb. Even as a student, he had opportunities to perform in Eric Hawkins' Greek Dreams and Rosenlieb's What Lies Behind Love.
Mark spent his summers training with notable instructors at Virginia School for the Arts, ABT, BalletMet and International Ballet Masterclasses in Prague.
Since becoming a certified personal trainer, Mark spends his time outside of the studio helping others achieve their fitness goals as a fitness instructor at Krank Nashville.
