At Nashville Ballet since 2002
Brendon LaPier began is training and performing in his hometown of South Glens Falls, NY.
His varied dance training and a BA in teaching/choreography from Mercyhurst College under the direction of Tauna Hunter prepared him for a company position at Nashville Ballet, where he started in 2002.
Some of Brendon’s most notable roles include the Faun in Afternoon of a Faun, the Sun in Paul Vasterling’s Carmina Burana, Demetrious in A Midsummers Night’s Dream and Chieftain in Salvatore Aiello's Rite of Spring. While at Nashville Ballet, he also performed in the Pastoral Duet in Paul Vasterling's Messiah, Pas de trios in James Canfield's Jungle, Awaiting Redemption, Giselle, Swan Lake, and Octet by Twyla Tharp.
In addition to his work at Nashville Ballet, Brendon designs, engraves and creates custom concrete furniture and flooring for Concrete Mystique in Nashville. He is always exploring a new artistic endeavor outside of the dance studio.
