At Nashville Ballet since 2012
Brett Sjoblom is from Columbia, Mo. where he began his dance training at the Columbia Performing Arts Center in 2003. In 2007, Brett attended the Virginia School of the Arts under the artistic direction of Adam Sage. During his time at Virginia School of the Arts, Brett received the Artistic Director’s Award For Excellence.
Brett received a BFA in Dance from The Boston Conservatory where he was granted the opportunity to perform works by Danny Pelzig, Viktor Platnikov, Bonnie Mathis, Alwin Nikolais, Jose Limon, Danielle Agami, and Ohad Naharin.
Brett joined Nashville Ballet's second company, NB2, upon his graduation from The Boston Conservatory. He spent the 2013-2014 season as a Nashville Ballet company apprentice and is very exicted to be promoted to a full company member.
