Julia Eisen, Ballet

Julia Eisen brought her superior training from North Carolina and Virginia to Nashville Ballet in 2010 as a member of the second company.

While she started her dance training in tap as a member of the North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble, she also studied ballet, modern and jazz at The Ballet School of Chapel Hill. She continued her ballet training at the North Carolina School of the Arts, where she performed in ballets and musicals. Her superior training and talent earned her a position as a trainee at Richmond Ballet and performance opportunities in the Terpsicorps Theater of Dance.

Since joining Nashville Ballet as a second company member, then later as an apprentice, Julia has performed with the company in memorable works such as Paul Vasterling’s Carmina Burana, Salvatore Aiello’s Rite of Spring and Gina Patterson’s Anne Frank, created exclusively for Nashville Ballet. In the Spring of 2013 Julia was promoted to a full company dancer and joined the teaching faculty at School of Nashville Ballet.
