About Nashville's Nutcracker
The beloved holiday tradition of Nashville’s Nutcracker returns to the stage for the sixth consecutive year with even more dancers and magical characters.
Nashville's own version of this timeless holiday classic tells the tale of Clara, a young girl who travels on a fantastic journey with the help of her magical Uncle Drosselmeyer.
Almost 200 dancers perform to the famous music of Tchaikovsky in this ballet classic set in Nashville. Nashville's Nutcracker introduces audiences to beloved characters such as the Sugar Plum Fairy, the Mouse King, the Nutcracker, the Dancing Bear and historic characters from Nashville's past.
"Celebrating the magic of Music City, but firmly rooted in the timeless tradition of ballet, “Nashville’s Nutcracker” has quickly taken its place among the area’s most treasured holiday traditions." -- The Tennessean
