Hello Merry6319,
I just logged onto this web site. I studied ballet with Albertine as
a college student in the 19070’s - I was never a dancer, but a
ballet fanatic, and am also looking for more contact with and and infor
mation about Albertine and her dance company and people who remember
her. I would welcome the opportunity to talk with you and hope

on a project having to do with Albertine and her contribution to

There was a Nashville Ballet Society begun by Albertine Maxwell in approximately 1956-1957. I was a student of Jane Shillinglaw and joined the company as a charter member. I am unable to find any info online about this original group comprised of Albertine’s students as well as many of Jane’s. Can you help me? Thanks in advance!

I wanted to kinda ask a question. I have two children who study ballet and I want to bring them to the nutcracker but can’t afford the tickets due to being on disablity. I see that you give discounts to college students but not for children or those who are handicapped. why is that? It would cost me 20% of my income just to come to a show. I want my children to have things I was not able to but during the holiday season or even anytime of the year these are prices I will not ever be able to pay. Is there any promotions or discounts that I am not aware of that I can use.
